Gate at Westfield’s Old Burying Ground now restored after 2022 car crash

WESTFIELD — With the repair of the Old Burying Ground's wrought-iron gate completed, the Historical Commission will rededicate the city's oldest cemetery at noon, Saturday, June 17.
The wrought-iron posts and gate doors needed extensive repairs after a car crashed through it in late October, said Cindy Gaylord, the chair of the city's Historical Commission.
